Drawn to the diversity of patient care that comes with his field of expertise, Stephen is a highly experienced and practised obstetrician, gynaecologist, and fertility specialist with a passion for supporting his female patients at every stage including prior to, during, and after pregnancy. Stephen’s obstetrics office is based within Calvary Hospital at Hobart OBGYN. He is also part of the team at TAS IVF, located at St Helen’s Private Hospital in the Hobart CBD.

Stephen initially worked as a Registered Nurse for over 12 years before undertaking his medical degree at the University of Newcastle. Training for his specialist qualifications included time in diverse Women’s Health Services including the birthing units at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospitals and at hospitals in Caboolture, Nambour, and Canberra.
He continued to further his passion for lifelong learning in the area of reproductive health and graduated with a Masters of Reproductive Health in 2013. In 2014 he had the honour of being admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). Stephen was then invited to join the teams at Hobart OBGYN and TAS IVF and seized this opportunity.
